<strong>Are you licensed and insured?</strong>
Yes, we carry liability insurance, workman’s comp and hold a valid business license.
<strong>Who uses your service?</strong>
Many people find our service very helpful during this hectic time of year. Businesses show their holiday spirit by decorating their buildings, busy professionals who entertain, families who want to enjoy the holiday together, and senior citizens not wanting to risk injury often hire us for their lights. Light hanging service also makes a great gift.
<strong>When should I schedule my Christmas light installation?</strong>
Due to the short season for light hanging, we suggest you contact us to schedule your installation as soon as possible. We do book up early.  Installations begin in early October and end in late December. Contact us early, and we’ll get your whole display ready before Thanksgiving so all you have to do is plug it in.
<strong>How long does the install take and do I need to be home?</strong>
 The more basic installations generally take anywhere from 2-3 hours, however custom installations can vary based upon the level of detail.  In most cases you do not need to be home. In rare cases, if you don’t have adequate outdoor power sources, we may require access to electrical components inside your home or business.
<strong>What is the difference between your lights and the ones I can purchase at the store?</strong>
Our Christmas lighting and decorations are manufactured to commercial standards —which means longer bulb life, better safety, and more design flexibility. We also feature UL-rated, outdoor extension cords, and commercial-grade timers.
<strong>Do you offer environmentally friendly LED Lighting ?</strong>
Yes. Today’s LED technology offers beautiful light coupled with energy savings (up to 90%) and longevity, lasting 10 times longer than regular incandescent lights. That means no more changing dozens of burned out light bulbs each season. These lights will continue to work consistently year-after-year and they are non-toxic, reducing your carbon footprint.
<strong>Will we need to hire an electrician?</strong>
In most cases, no. Some larger installations may require additional power sources though.
<strong>Do I have to turn my lights on and off every night?</strong>
All lights will be plugged into a photocell timer, which means all you have to do is tell us when you want the lights to go on and off, and the timer does the rest automatically. If you want to turn them off, simply turn the timer to off or unplug them from the outlet.
<strong>What happens if I have a problem with my lights?</strong>
First please check your timer and make sure that it is still plugged in and turned on. Many times the issue is simply related to someone taking the timer out of the socket or turning it to off. Also be sure to check the GFCI. Simply push reset and this may take care of the issue as well. Our professional installers are trained to minimize any problems with your lights. However, if you do have a problem with your display, just let us know and we will send a crew to correct the problem as soon as possible.
<strong>When will my lights be taken down?</strong>
We begin the process of light removal on January 2nd and continue until the last lights are removed. We do this systematically according to geographical location. You do not need to be home for the removal.
<strong>What is the referral program and how does it work?</strong>
The referral program is something new that we are starting this year. Any new or existing client that refers us new business will receive $50 credit for each referral. On top of the $50, the tier system is in place to reward those who consistently refer us new business. If you refer us three (3) clients, or at least one job worth $1500, you will receive 25% off of your installation next year. If you refer us five (5) clients, or at least one job worth $2500, you will receive 50% off of your installation next year. If you refer us 10 clients, or at least one job worth $5000, your installation will be free next year. There are currently no restrictions for the referral system and if you reach the 10 referrals or $5000 mark, the referral program resets and you can earn the rewards all over again.
<strong>Do we rent/lease the lights or own them? </strong>
Our service is all inclusive; all decor is owned by Pro Light Hangers! We regularly replace decorations and materials when they need to be refreshed. You will never need to buy lights or store them again!
